The technology behind MAUS Stixx Pro

The small size in combination with the large capacity makes the MAUS Stixx PRO-series a unique fire suppression solution on the market. The new MAUS Stixx PRO 5 and MAUS Stixx PRO 10 are automatic fire suppression units for smaller to larger enclosures. The built in heat detecting cables are placed on the top of the unit and activates the unit by exposure to fire or when the unit reaches 170°C.

One single MAUS Stixx PRO 10 protects a space of 1.0 m³ and one single MAUS Stixx PRO 5 unit protects a space of 0.5 m³. You can use the adhesive tape on the back of the units or use the screw holes on the front to install the units in the enclosure.

The extinguishing agent is exhausted through the ports of the unit and quickly fills the enclosure and extinguishes the fire. For a larger detection area you can add heat detecting cables that you easily connect with metal cylinders (included) to connect to the ports on the sides of the unit. With the Cable Clips you can easily attach the cable inside the enclosure for optimal detection.
